  • On 6/22/2018 contract was signed for termination of timeshare ownership , monies were given and per contract if they were not able to terminate monies would be refunded in 10 days, no notification was received, and time went no progress was made no communication , and when there was , nothing that was was ever followed threw on , another year we had to pay fees to resort because American Settlement did not take any action. We have reached out to costumer service , responce then no answer runn around new people all the time answering the phone . It is very frustrating , this dishonest .
  • I received a call from this company back in October 2018. They told me that they could get me out of my timeshare at *********** in Branson, MO. They claimed that if they got me out of the timeshare, I would not have to pay any more membership fees. (They told me that the fees were going up over 200%! They also told me that upon my death, my relatives would be responsible for fees. And non payment would affect their credit rating. Warned about value going down.) They promised to get rid of the timeshare in four months for $3500. I paid for this by credit card. None of the things they promised have happened. I am still paying POAs; have received two of them for a total of $1488.27. I didn't hear from them again. I did end up hearing from another company who claimed they were the closing firm for this company and they needed to send paperwork to be filled out (POA) to close this. I ended up having to pay another company to do this task. A separate complaint on that company will also be filed with the BBB. Both companies said that I couldn't use points any more that the points belonged to them. I learned from yet another company ***** that this is not the case.
