Michael J KREMOVEDof Empire Brokers, LLC, allegedly in Tennessee called me offering to handle the sale of my UVC membership to another person. The calls started in late July /early August 2025. After speaking to UVC representative, Daniel HREMOVED, to verify the legitimacy of the deal, I wired $REMOVEDon 8/20/25 & $REMOVEDon 09/16/25. That was to pay off membership and pay the early termination fees charged by UVC. Once that was paid, the $700,000 was supposed to be sent to me. The day I was supposed to be paid, this Michael KREMOVEDcalled and told us that a 35% sales tax charged by SAT must now be paid & that he is blaming Trump tariffs for causing this. He said that due immediately is $REMOVEDand sent fake demands from the Mexican SAT (like the Mexican version of the US IRS). He is threatening us that if we don't pay, Empire Brokers will keep all of my money for breach of contract and the Mexican government will still come after my wife & I for the taxes. Since we didn't send him the $REMOVEDor even a dime more money, a man by the name of Nicholas Blake FREMOVEDwho claims to be a corporate attorney (aka chief legal officer) said Mr. KREMOVEDwould no longer be handling this business transaction and sent new documents to me. He said he worked out a deal for me to wire Mexico SAT only $REMOVED& pay the rest later. He gave me a deadline of October 31, 2025. When I tried calling Daniel HREMOVEDof UVC, the phone only rings & there is no answer. When I try calling Michael KREMOVED's direct number, REMOVED, someone else answers & transfers my calls to Nicholas FREMOVED. I was stringing him along now telling him we are trying to get the money hoping law enforcement can trace these calls or intervene and catch these guys before they victimize anyone else. We hope for a reply before this Nicholas FREMOVEDquits calling & we get blocked from his number also. I have completed an IC3 report with the FBI. I am notifying the BBB now so that nobody else gets scammed out of money.
