- We believe Redweek breeched its rental agreement with us and refused to pay us the rent due on our Maui timeshare unit. We have used the company in the past but were extremely disappointed with our latest transaction and their lack of timely communication and arbitrary dispute resolution process. Apparently our only recourse is to litigate the matter and incur attorney fees.
- Avoid Redweek at all costs and save your vacation. I have had a terrible experience with Redweek. I inquired about renting an Oceanside timeshare in Myrtle Beach, SC for the first week of August 2018. Upon receiving the contract for Redweek, I noticed it was for the wrong unit and quickly alerted Redweek requesting that they place my family in the correct unit. When they didn't, I filed a dispute. Redweek cancelled my reservation and charged me a 100% penalty fee of $2,750. This is unacceptable. It's been two months now of going back and forth with them and they are not willing to assist. We received no unit or refund to date. The customer service and lack of professionalism of their senior leadership and customer service representatives are regrettable reprehensible. In the future, we will give our business to the reputable companies.
- Redweek posted a redweek verified add for a timeshare rental in Maui. Redweek received my personal information (credit card, codes, address, etc) to book the unit. July 9, 2019 Redweek replied a confirmation was coming July 9, 2014 Redweek declined my reservation and told me to go to their site and rent it again for a higher price. They said they realized they could get more money for it. July 10, 2019 This is a classic bait and switch in my opinion.
