- Did a consult with Wesley Financial in March of 2021 to cancel two timeshares my wife and I had. Filled out paperwork, did a phone interview with a vice president, and sent in supporting documents to company as requested and after a review was told they could help us cancel the timeshares. Informed the company my wife was out of work and money was tight, we were told for a fee of around six thousand dollars they would get our timeshares canceled. We paid a deposit of $***** on March 17th, and a payment plan was started for us to follow. After a brief online orientation I started speaking with ************* in April, he advised us on the steps we needed to follow and assured us the timeshares could be canceled. Worked with ****** until June 7, 2021 when I received an email from ************ who informed us he would be taking over our case, and was reviewing the case. On June 25, 2021 received an email from a *************** stating she was now handling our case, this would be the third person we had been dealing with in six months. After a review and several emails we received an offer from the time share company to cancel only one timeshare for five thousand dollars. Spoke with ******* via email and explained we could not afford to pay that amount of money, certainly not at one time, and expressed the fact that I couldn't understand why I was paying Wesley Financial and having to pay to exit the time share, I was told that I was told of this in the beginning and that I should have been aware of this. I disagreed with that they told me I would likely have to pay a small fee to exit the time share there was never a mention of a few thousand dollars. I was not happy with that answer. I had no further correspondence with Wesley after August 24, 2021. On May 12, 2022 I was contacted via phone and email that I owed $***** to Wesley or they would send me to collections, after several discussions with LaTonya Hughes they agree to lower the fee to $*****. Not acceptable.
- On January 20, 2021 we contacted Wesley Financial Group in hopes to terminate our **** resort timeshare. The conversation was very detailed. My wife and I felt really optimistic about them being able to cancel our timeshare. They then sent us all of the information and a payment invoice for $********. The first invoice was for $******** and the second invoice was for $********. We were told that our situation could be handled and was assured that they would have constant communication with us. For the first couple of months they sent us a letter with EXTREMELY poor grammar (in an attempt to mimic how the average person talked). We was first assigned to **** ****. After about 4 months ****'s communication with us decreased to the point of us having to contact management for more updates. They then assigned us to ************** who assured us that we would have a better experience with her. She was good for the first 4 months and then her communication went blank as well. We made every attempt to communicate with them because we would rather have the timeshare cancelled than to ask for a refund. However, the communication got even worse. Sometimes there would be no communication for weeks even after getting a response from everyone they sent us to. We finally called to try to get a refund because we felt as though there was no REAL service being rendered. No results at all and I still have to keep paying this timeshare company because I don't want to destroy my credit. When we called they handed us off to like 3 people just to find out that their "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE" (that they market all over their brochures) comes with a HUGE stipulation that was not mentioned upon our entrance into the program. After hours of talking to these people, they stated we did not qualify for a full refund because 3 years didn't elapse. This was NEVER mentioned in any documentation nor was this expressed over the phone during our introduction into the program. This company is a HUGE SCAM
- I contacted WFG about helping us get out of our Timeshare contracts after we felt we have been taken advantage of and due to other issues including declining health and inability to travel. The initial consultation went well but what they were telling me seemed almost too good to be true. We agreed on a price and they sent over the contract the same day. The salesperson said to make sure I sent them my information as soon as possible and they would start on my case right away as soon as I paid the down payment. They called the same day for my CC info so we could start the process. I emailed them immediately all of the contract info (both timeshares) they needed. Finally, Mr. Porter reached out from the resolution department he looked at our file he instructed us to write a letter of complaint to one of our timeshares and then passed ** off to a new resolution specialist. The new specialist never did anything further except tell us to keep calling the timeshare people. Through our own legwork and due diligence we resolved our own contract issue but no thanks to WFG. I updated Ms. ******* let her know our frustration she stated the following - As far as the fee is concerned, you pay $XXXX for both your ********* and your ******* to be canceled, so essentially $XXXX apiece. This was a price that you agreed to pay when you came on at Wesley Financial Group to have both accounts canceled - I can speak with my manager, do a deeper review of your file, and let you know if we can do anything further, like waive a portion of your remaining balance to Wesley Financial Group. In the meantime, if you have any other concerns you would like me to address, please let me know.. No work was ever done on the ********* account at all. No further communication until this week. At this point I just want them to settle the account as final and be done! The communication/service is terrible with this company! Which seems like a very common complaint for this company.
- In August 2021, I contacted the Westley Financial Group for assistance in terminating a timeshare. They assured me they would be able to cancel it. I made arrangements to pay them in three installments, so by November 2021 I had paid them the entire amount. During that time, they were in contact with me (via email and phone). Six different people contacted me about the case, asking the same questions (I began to wonder if they were communicating with each other). In February 2022, I sent an email to the Senior Resolution Specialist asking the status of the timeshare cancellation. I listed the names of all the persons to whom I'd talked and wanted to know what the Westley Financial Groupe is going to do. A very serious concern is the lack of communication between them and me. I'd given them all that money and I stopped hearing from them. When they did call, it felt like they hadn't worked on my case at all. I am a Senior Citizen, on fixed income, with several health problems. I pray that I can get my money back. If they cannot help me, but I need to know.
- I contacted WFG about resolving a issue with a Timeshare. The initial consultation went well but what they were telling me seemed almost too good to be true. We agreed on a price and they sent over the contract the same day. The sales person said to make sure I sent them my information as soon as possible and they would start on my case ASAP (once I paid the down payment). They called the same day for my CC info so we could start the process. I emailed them within 2 weeks the info they needed. I waited and received no response. I called several times and kept leaving VM messages with no returned calls. I sent several follow up emails and received no response. I decided that this was probably a scam so I refused to pay my follow up bills responding to them telling them that I wasn't going to pay the bill until someone contacted me regarding my case. Finally, Mr. ***** reached out from the resolution department. He said that they are very busy and apologized for their lack of communication but if I would give them another chance he would make sure it was better. He said they would send me a amended contract. Two weeks passed *** still no communication or amendment. I finally called him and said that since it had now been several months I just wanted to cancel and receive my deposit back. I talked to Mr. ***** and he said he would start the process for my options. Within a week of that conversation I received a amended contract from them basically stating I would have to start at square one again and pay another deposit. I emailed back and declined to sign the amendment. At this point I just want my money returned. Up front they seemed great but their communication and efficiency is horrible. I wish I would have checked *** first since this seems like a very common complaint for this company.
- We started working with Wesley Financial in November of 2018. We agreed and signed an agreement January 15, 2019 agreeing to allow Wesley Financial to terminate our timeshare contracts with ******* *******. Initially we paid $***** and agreed to pay ****** for 18 months. The total amount we had to pay is $******. Our agreement stated that they guaranteed termination of our timeshare contracts within 18 months or we would receive a full refund. We paid our monthly amount to them and waited to hear the status of our timeshare accounts. We made our last payment August 2020. During this time ******** was affecting many but we were assured Wesley was still going strong. Acknowledging ***** was possibly causing delays, we gave them extra time. After this each month their representative called to give us an update, she would say it's in the cancellation process. We heard this from January 2021 till October 2021. . Finally October 25, 2021, she informed us that we would no longer hear from them because it was in the cancellation phase and it is for our personal record (not Wesley's). We waited for a cancellation, but received nothing. On January 25, 2022 (3 years later), we sent two letters to Wesley requesting a refund. One letter immediately came back as "undeliverable as addressed. We thought they had received the second letter, but it came back weeks later. We sent another letter to another address and a representative called. We have been talking with **** *****. At first he told us we were not entitled to a refund. To be fair, I informed him that we were not seeking the full refund that we are entitled to but we think it is fair that we get back half. Currently he says he can only offer $*****. His excuse is that we allowed them that extra time. We basically did all the work while they waited ******* out. They are no better than the timeshare people. Please help!
- We have been in a contract with Wesley in order to cancel our timeshare with ******* for 8 months now. Since the beginning of our conversation with different representatives of this company we were informed of their protocol to successfully cancel timeshares was writing letters and making calls on our behalf in order to cancel the timeshare and that wee were in no shape or form have any contact with them. For the first month we were excited about the process and were in constant contact with resolution specialist and whatnot. After that first month everything went radio silent, we did not receive any calls or emails for about 3 months and were handed off to 3 other "specialists" every time I would call the provided number of OUR specialist. After almost 4 months and posting our concerns on the ****** ******** ****** website, we were finally put in contact with someone that was giving us some news but was asking US to directly contact ******* to cancel our timeshare, opposite of what we were told when entering this contract. We have already paid thousands to this company just to be strung along. We want a full refund of the money we have already paid due to entering a contract under the false pretenses that this company would take care of canceling our timeshare, only to be disappointed at every turn.
- I have given this company $******** to date to cancel my Club ******* timeshare which I would like a full refund immediately. My discussions with the group started in July 3, 2021 with Sr. Qualification Specialist, ******** ******* who reported the company had worked with several "former" timeshare owners and were successful in canceling their timeshare contracts. I was sent several videos to watch of "former" timeshare owners who were so pleased with the Wesley Financial Group and being released from their contracts. After Mr. ******* sent me the contract and required a down payment (which I paid $*****), I was transfered to ****** ******, the resolution specialist, who promised to give me the **** by **** instructions to have my time canceled. They constructed one letter for me to send to ******* and I have not heard a word from him or anyone else on his "team" since February 28, 2022 and today is April 20, 2022. I have sent multiple emails regarding ******* correspondences to him as I was instructed with no direct responses. The only response I receive when sending emails is an automatic email response stating my email was received. My timeshare is about to go into foreclosure and ruin my credit for ten years. As a customer who has made on time payments of almost $900 a month to this company, I would expect more communication from Mr. ****** and his team.
- I hired Wesley to gett rid of my timeshare. I paid upfront and was connected with someone I thought was my lawyer to discuss the course of action that would take place . I was sending in documents and was getting no response from my representative. After calling wesley a couple of times over the course of 2 months I was told I had a new representative. During this time my timeshare closed due to non payment with no help from wesley.,and when I dicussed this with them I was told by an employee my case was a rarity but I should get something back someone would be calling me .when they called they offered me nothing back and said this happens sometimes. They are just as shady as the timeshare people
