  • I cannot express my disappointment in the ownership I bought into with Westgate Resorts. I purchased this travel plan for over $6,000 through a presentation package at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort. We elected to sit in on the presentation and bought ownership under false pretenses from those doing the presentation. This was in April. Now, in June, we are learning what a huge lie this presentation, as well as the resort package really is. I have called over 10 time to attempt to "use" one of our weeks at one of the "many, luxurious resorts" that you have and NOT ONCE have the resorts of our choice been available for future dates that we requested. And, to top it off, I call to use one of our weeks at the Miami resort and the person told me that THAT resort does not qualify as one of our resorts to use one of my "weeks" at. I am beyond upset with you, especially that I have no recourse for you "making it right" since I am OUT $6,000! The Cruise & Travel inventory is a large joke, as I was able to reserve my Hilton hotel room cheaper as a FREE Hilton Honors member than I could through your site! Even looking at any of the Las Vegas hotel rooms on your cruise and travel site are more expensive than if i would call the hotel myself and book it. Only allowing me to use a set amount of "travel credits" is beyond deceiving! Offering me additional travel credits for items makes me laugh, since I can't possibly use them! Unless I hear back from you with some GOOD news, there will be nothing but bad reviews, and a formal complaint about this purchase. Vacationing is one of the things we choose to spend our money on, and taking our $6,000+ and not fulfilling your promises with availability was so deceiving. Shame on you.!
  • We originally booked our room for April before the Covid-19 situation started. We were getting updates about what was going on with the company and also were told we had to cancel our room due to Covid-1, but we had a year to re-book. The last email we received was suppose to be a great deal. We got a partial refund in return for a 3day 2-night stay in Orlando for $66. We asked were there any hidden fees or anything that may make the price go up and we was told no. Now, we want to book our room in July after the 4th and we were told we had to pay more money due to it being peak. The dates we originally had for the dates changed from what we were told. We were told we had go on the website and find a special and then use the credit we had towards the room. We asked to speak to a supervisor, which was very defensive from the start. He told us we couldnt get our money back and that was our only option. I explained we asked if the price would go up and we was told no. He didnt care, and was very unapologetic. We want our money back or want the resort to honor the price we were given. If that was the case, We would of received a full refund and re-booked with the refund.
